behalf of the reorle of Pueblo we eFrress our sincere
appreciation of the work done by Dr. J. C. Cornell and
Stuff and the Nurses of Denver,. the Doctors and Nurses
of Colorado Springs, and the Doctors and Nurses of
Pueblo, for the highly efficient services rendered the
health Department of the City during the recent flood
disaster.
The dread of the usual epidemic following such
a condition inspired a tireless and devoted service
which entirely averted ouch a calamity. it is impossible
to estimate the value of a service which saved, by strict
measures of precaution, the lives of men, women and
children, and t1_e remembrance of such service will re-
main in the hearts of Pueblo reoble as an insrirvtion
of like devotior_ to duty.
