Public Safety,
Dear si r:
I wish to call your attention to a
pool hall that has been in operation at 210
Central Main. This pool hall is ran by Sam
Cash and Dan Jordan, is a hang out for the
lowest element of whites, negroes and mexicans.
On April 21, Officer Tom Johnson
raided this place and found a game in operation,
he brought in about thirteen of the players
and on April 22, Dan Jordan, who had chagge of the
place, was fined 1 100 for conduc ting a gambling
game. The players w fined $10 each.
I closed the pool hall pending investigation
by yourself and council, we have had considerable trouble
in the past with this place the proprietors insisting
in running a gambling joint and selling white mule.
Respe tfully,
