TITLE
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 5 OF TITLE VI OF THE PUEBLO
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO CLASSIFICATION AND PAY RANGE
ISSUE
Should City Council approve the amendment to §6 -5 -16 of the Pueblo Municipal Code
deleting salary references for the Deputy City Attorney position?
Approve the ordinance.
BACKGROUND
This conforms the salary schedule in Title VI of the Pueblo Municipal Code to the
counterpart amendment to the staffing Ordinance eliminating the position of Deputy City
Attorney.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
As noted in the Background Memorandum for the Staffing Ordinance amendment, cost
savings may be anticipated by eliminating this position and adding an additional
Assistant City Attorney position.
