AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A REVOCABLE LICENSE
AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF PUEBLO, A
COLORADO MUNICIPAL CORPORATION AND CLEAN AIR
PUEBLO FOR THE INSTALLATION OF AIR QUALITY
MONITORS ON CITY FIRE DEPARTMENT PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City Council of Pueblo has the authority on behalf of the City of Pueblo
to approve and to enter into agreements; and
WHEREAS, approval of the Revocable License Agreement is in the best interest of the
City and will benefit the health, welfare and safety of the citizens of the City; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The Revocable License Agreement, a true copy of which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein, is hereby accepted and approved in accordance with its terms and
conditions.
SECTION 2.
The Mayor is authorized to execute the Revocable License Agreement in the name of
and on behalf of the City, and the Mayor is authorized to execute any and all other certifications,
assurances and other documents associated therewith.
SECTION 3.
The officers and staff of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and all acts
consistent with the intent of this Ordinance to effectuate the policies and procedures described
herein.
SECTION 4.
This Ordinance shall become effective on the date of final action by the Mayor and City
Council.

MUNICIPAL CORPORATION AND CLEAN AIR PUEBLO FOR THE
INSTALLATION OF AIR QUALITY MONITORS ON CITY FIRE
DEPARTMENT PROPERTY
SUMMARY:
This Ordinance will approve a revocable license agreement between the City and Clean
Air Pueblo for the purpose of installing air quality monitoring equipment on Pueblo Fire
Department fire stations.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
Not Applicable.
BACKGROUND:
Clean Air Pueblo seeks to partner with the City to install Purple Air Particle Monitors at
Clean Air Pueblo the opportunity to monitor and record air quality throughout Pueblo.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
All costs and expenses related to the revocable license agreement shall be the
responsibility of Clean Air Pueblo. The City will not incur any financial cost.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
Not Applicable.
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
Not Applicable.
ALTERNATIVES:
City Council may decline the license agreement. If that occurs, Clean Air Pueblo will be
required to seek alternative locations for the installation of air quality monitoring
devices.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Fire Department recommends approval of the Ordinance.
