A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT BY THE
MAYOR OF BRYAN 'KENT' SHELMAN TO SERVE A THREE-
YEAR TERM EXPIRING OCTOBER 1, 2027 ON THE PUEBLO
REGIONAL BUILDING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Mayor Heather Graham has requested confirmation by the City Council of
her appointment of Bryan 'Kent' Shelman to the Pueblo Regional Building Commission; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
The appointment by the Mayor of Bryan 'Kent' Shelman to the Pueblo Regional Building
Commission to serve a three-year term expiring October 1, 2027 shall be and is hereby
confirmed by the City Council.
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent
with this Resolution to implement the appointments described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective on the date of final action by the Mayor and City
Council.

SUMMARY:
This Resolution confirms the appointment by the Mayor of Bryan 'Kent' Shelman to
serve a three-year term expiring October 1, 2027 on the Pueblo Regional Building
Commission.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
The Mayor has made appointments to boards and commissions selecting individuals to
serve terms which expire during a particular calendar year and presented them to
Council for approval.
BACKGROUND:
Due to normal term expirations, there is one spot available to complete a term on the
Pueblo Regional Building Commission. Three candidates were interviewed by the
Mayor.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
This is a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation.

Remove from the agenda and re-advertise for additional applications.
