(PUEBLO'S LEGACY AND COMMUNITY EXPERIENCE) PROJECT FOR THE USE OF THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY ALONG CLEMSON AVENUE FROM LEHIGH AVENUE TO FORDHAM CIRCLE FOR THE PURPOSE OF FACILITATING A COMMUNITY BLOCK PARTY SUMMARY: Attached is a draft revocable permit (REV-24-26) submitted by The P.L.A.C.E. (Pueblo's Legacy and Community Experience) PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: None. BACKGROUND: The P.L.A.C.E. Project has submitted a revocable permit (Rev-24-26) application requesting the use of the public right-of-way along Clemson Avenue from Lehigh Avenue to Fordham Circle for the purpose of facilitating a community block party on September 17, 2024, starting at 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: None. BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: The Revocable Permit Review Committee recommends approval. STAKEHOLDER PROCESS: None. ALTERNATIVES: Failure to approve the Resolution will prevent the applicant from facilitating a community block party event. RECOMMENDATION: Approval of the Resolution. ATTACHMENTS: 1. (PUEBLO'S LEGACY AND COMMUNITY EXPERIENCE) PROJECT FOR THE USE OF THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY ALONG CLEMSON AVENUE FROM LEHIGH AVENUE TO FORDHAM CIRCLE FOR THE PURPOSE OF FACILITATING A COMMUNITY BLOCK PARTY BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that SECTION 1. The attached Revocable Permit (Rev-24-26) is authorized to be issued to The P.L.A.C.E. (Pueblo's Legacy and Community Experience) Project for the use of the public right-of-way along Clemson Avenue from Lehigh Avenue to Fordham Circle for the purpose of facilitating a community block party on September 17, 2024, starting at 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. SECTION 2. The use of the public right-of-way granted hereby is subject to all limitations, terms, and conditions set forth in the attached Revocable Permit. SECTION 3. The officers of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with the intent of this Resolution to implement the policies and procedures described herein. SECTION 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval.
