TITLE
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE VI CHAPTER 5, OF THE PUEBLO MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO TEMPORARY AND INTERMITTENT WORKERS
ISSUE
Amendment of the Salary Ordinance related to temporary and intermittent workers to
reflect 2009 wages.
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of the Ordinance
BACKGROUND
Hourly wage scales have not been adjusted in this area since 2002. The stagehand
managing the auditorium has indicated that the proposed increase in wages is
necessary to attract stagehands for some of the larger productions. All expenses
associated with stagehand wages are paid by the organization renting the auditorium.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Wages for the intermittent workers are included in and reimbursed through auditorium
rental contracts.
