FISCAL YEAR 2008 STAFFING ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE
REORGANIZATION OF THE HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT
ISSUE
Should City Council pass and approve the proposed Ordinance.
RECOMMENDATION
The City Manager and the Human Resources Director recommend that this ordinance
be passed and approved.
BACKGROUND
In the interest of promoting greater insurance cost containment/wellness & employee
loss control focus within the City of Pueblo, the Human Resources Department
recommends making these staffing adjustments in order to provide enhanced support to
the City departments and their employees.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Deleting an Employment & Benefits Specialist and backfilling with a HR Analyst will
allow savings so that these other 2 adjustments will still result in an estimated salary
