ORDINANCE NO. 7848
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF KINGSROYAL
BOULEVARD LOCATED WEST OF THE NEWMARKET
STREET AND KINGSROYAL BOULEVARD INTERSECTION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that:
SECTION 1.
The following described portion of Kingsroyal Boulevard:
Considering the West line of Lot 4, Block 2 in Regency Business Park, LLC
to bear N. 00 E., and all bearing contained herein being relative
thereto.
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 4, Block 2 in Regency Business
Park, LLC according to the recorded plat thereof as filed for record at
Reception No. 1722138 said point also being on the Northerly right -of -way
line of Kingsroyal Boulevard as presently located in said Regency Business
Park, LLC; thence Westerly along the arc of a curve to the left whose radius
is 390.00 feet and whose center bears S. 21 °11'19" W., a distance of 40.95
feet to a point on the Southerly line of Vacated Shull Avenue according to
the Street and Alley Vacation filed for record at Reception No. 1722136;
thence N. 89 E., a distance of 39.06 feet to a point on the Westerly
line of said Lot 4; thence S. 00 W., along the Westerly line of said Lot
4, a distance of 12.19 feet to the Point of Beginning.
is hereby vacated.
SECTION 2.
This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and
approval.

ISSUE
Shall City Council approve the proposed application to vacate a 223 square foot
portion of Kingsroyal Boulevard to provide access to the newly annexed enclave?
RECOMMENDATION
The Planning and Zoning Commission, at their June 11, 2008, Regular Meeting, voted
6-0 to recommend approval.
BACKGROUND
The applicant is requesting to vacate a 223 square foot portion of Kingsroyal Boulevard
that was platted in 2005 to provide access to Lots 32, 33, 34 and 35 Block 16,
Columbia Heights Subdivision that were lots of record in unincorporated Pueblo
County. With the annexation of the enclave, this portion of right -of -way is no longer
necessary to provide access to the parcel.

None.
