Now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: (brackets indicate matter deleted, underscoring indicates matter added) SECTION 1 _ The following section captioned " Human Resources " of Ordinance No. 7697, being the 2008 Staffing Ordinance, is amended as follows: Director of Human Resources 1 HR Analyst/Recruitment 1 Employment & Benefits Specialist 2 Benefits Coordinator 1 Clerk Typist III /HR Records Tech 1 [Clerk Typist III /HR Records Tech .75] [Total 5.75] Total 6 SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval. RECOMMENDATION The City Manager and the Acting Human Resources Director recommend that this ordinance be passed and approved. BACKGROUND In the interest of promoting greater efficiency within the City of Pueblo, the Human Resources Department recommends making their current % time Clerk Typist position full time in order to provide enhanced support to the City departments and their employees as the demands of state and federal regulations are consistently changing and increasing. FINANCIAL IMPACT This adjustment will cost the department approximately $4300 in increased salary in 2008.
