AN ORDINANCE VACATING ALL OF MILDRED PLACE
ADJACENT TO LOTS 4, 5, AND 6 AND LOTS 7, 8, AND 9 IN
MAFFET RESUBDIVISION ADJOINING 21 STREET
LOCATED BETWEEN NORWOOD AVENUE AND OAKSH IRE
LANE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that:
SECTION 1.
The following described portion of Mildred Place:
All of Mildred Place adjacent to Lots 4, 5, and 6 and Lots 7, 8, and 9 in
Maffet Re- Subdivision according to the recorded plat thereof as filed for
record at Reception No. 965054 in the Pueblo County records.
is hereby vacated.
SECTION 2.
This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and
approval.

ISSUE
Shall City Council approve the proposed vacation in order to facilitate a future
affordable senior housing development?
RECOMMENDATION
The Planning and Zoning Commission, at their December 12, 2007, regular meeting,
voted 6 -0 to recommend approval.
BACKGROUND
The applicant proposes to vacate all of Mildred Place and resubdivide it along with the
adjoining lots via concurrent subdivision application (S- 07 -28) for a future affordable
senior housing development.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
None.
