AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING CAPIITAL PROJECT NO CP0806, POOL REPAIRS, AND
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $250,000 OF CONSERVATION TRUST FUNDS
THEREFOR
WHEREAS, it has been determined that certain capital repairs need to be made to the
City's pools to ensure that the pools will remain open to the public throughout the upcoming
swimming season. NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
Capital project number CP0806, Pool Repairs, is hereby established.

The amount of $250,000 is hereby budgeted and appropriated for said project and shall be
transferred from the following sources: $81,375 from Project CPO413, Park Land Purchase;
$149,660 from Project CP0603, Grant Matches -CTF Funds; $18,965 from the Conservation Trust
Fund reserves.
SECTION 3.
This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval.

Should the City of Pueblo authorize the transfer of $250,000 from the
Conservation Trust Fund for pool repairs?
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of the Ordinance
It has been reported by the pool maintenance personnel that the sand filters at
City Park and Mineral Palace pools need to be immediately replaced to ensure
that the pools will remain open to the public throughout the upcoming swimming
season. In addition, the slide at Mineral Palace pool needs to be replaced.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The total financial impact for this project is $250,000. This amount shall be
transferred from the following sources: $81,375 from Project CPO413, Park Land
Purchase; $149,660 from Project CP0603, Grant Matches -CTF Funds; $18,965
from the Conservation Trust Fund reserves.
