DEPARTMENT SUBDIVISION
ISSUE
Shall City Council approve a request to replat 910 and 920 North Main Street to
facilitate the construction of the Pueblo City- County Health Department?
RECOMMENDATION
The Planning and Zoning Commission, at their October 10, 2007 regular meeting, voted
6 -0 to recommend approval.
BACKGROUND
The applicant is proposing to subdivide a 2.06 -acre parcel of land into one government

the proposed City- County Health Department.
Currently the Pueblo County Sheriffs Department is occupying the building that sits
adjacent to Main Street; the Concerned Parents of Pueblo structure is vacant.
Redevelopment of this property will require the demolition of the Concerned Parents of
Pueblo building and the southern one -third (1/3) and eastern garage portion of the
Sheriff's Department investigation building.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
None.
