The following described portion of the existing Walking Stick Boulevard right -of- way: The North 40 feet of Walking Stick Boulevard as platted in Walking Stick Estates, Filing No. 2, A Special Area Plan according to the recorded plat thereof as filed for record at Reception No. 1065018 in the Pueblo County records. is hereby vacated and the street name "Walking Stick Boulevard" is hereby removed. RECOMMENDATION The Planning and Zoning Commission, at their December 12, 2007, regular meeting, voted 6-0 to recommend approval. BACKGROUND The applicant proposes to vacate the northern 40' of the existing 80' wide Walking Stick Boulevard right -of -way as platted in Walking Stick Estates, 2 Filing. The planned roadway has not been built and will be realigned farther to the north as part of the Walking Stick Vista Subdivision. The existing right -of -way is no longer needed for roadway purposes. The Walking Stick Vista Home Owners' Association will develop and maintain an off - system trail and landscaping within the remaining dedicated half of the Walking Stick Boulevard right -0f - -way. FINANCIAL IMPACT None.
