ORDINANCE NO. 7668
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PEDESTRIAN EASEMENT LOCATED
WITHIN LOTS 17 AND 18, BLOCK 1, VENTANA, FILING NO. 1
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that:
SECTION 1.
An Easement located within Lots 17 and 18, Block 1, Ventana, Filing No. 1, more
particularly described as follows:
All of the 10.5 foot pedestrian easement located in Lot 17 and Lot 18, Block
1, in Ventana, Filing No. 1 according to the recorded plat thereof as filed for
record at Reception No. 1564174 in the Pueblo County records.
is hereby vacated.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and
approval.

TITLE
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PEDESTRIAN EASEMENT LOCATED WITHIN LOTS
17 AND 18, BLOCK 1, VENTANA, FILING NO. 1
ISSUE
Shall City Council approve a pedestrian easement vacation to facilitate single - family
residential development within Ventana, Filing No. 1A, a Special Area Plan?
RECOMMENDATION
The Planning and Zoning Commission, at their August 8, 2007, regular meeting, voted
5-0 to recommend approval.
The applicant proposes to vacate a 10.5 foot Pedestrian Easement along the southern
portions of Lots 17 and 18 of Block 1 Ventana, Filing No. 1. The vacation will facilitate
attached single - family residential development within Ventana, Filing No. 1A, a Special
Area Plan. The pedestrian easement will be incorporated into the Colorado State
Highway No. 78 right -of -way.
It is the recommendation of the Subdivision Review Committee (SRC) memo dated July
25, 2007 that the vacation be approved once all conditions have been satisfied.

None.
