AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM A -4 TO A -3 COVERING A
PARCEL OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS 205 LA ROCHELLE DRIVE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The zoning restrictions covering the following described property be changed from A -4,
Agricultural Four District to A -3, Agricultural Three District, and upon passage of this ordinance,
zoning restrictions affecting A -3, Agricultural Three District, shall apply to said property:
A parcel of land located in a part of the South Eastern '/4, and a part of the South Y2 of the North
Eastern Y4 of Section 16, Township 21 South, Range 65 West of the 6 th Prime Meridian in the
County of Pueblo and State of Colorado and being more particularly described as follows:
All of Lot 40, in La Vista Hills Subdivision Second Filing according to the recorded plat thereof as
filed for record at Reception No. 67967 in the Pueblo County Records.
Containing 2.15 acres more or less,
and more commonly known as:
205 La Rochelle Drive.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval.

COMMONLY KNOWN AS 205 LA
ISSUE
Shall City Council approve a request to rezone the property from A -4, Agricultural
Four District, to A -3, Agricultural Three District, to facilitate the construction of a
16,000 square foot indoor riding arena?
RECOMMENDATION
The Planning and Zoning Commission, at their July 11, 2007 regular meeting,
voted 6 -0 to recommend approval.
BACKGROUND
The current use of the land is single - family residence and two (2) detached
accessory structures (garage and barn). The applicant is requesting to down
zone the property to facilitate the construction of a 16,000 square foot indoor
riding arena.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
None.
