HomeMy WebLinkAbout07589ORDINANCE NO. 7589 AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM A -1 AND S -1 TO B -3 AND R -5 COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS PARK WEST BUSINESS CAMPUS FILING NUMBER 5 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. The zoning restrictions covering the following described property be changed from A -1, Agricultural One District and S -1, Government Use District to B -3, Highway and Arterial Business District and R -5, Multiple Residential and Office District, and upon passage of this ordinance, zoning restrictions affecting B -3, Highway and Arterial Business District and R -5, Multiple Residential and Office District, shall apply to said property: A parcel of land located in the N Y2 of the NW' /4 of Section 22, Township 20 South, Range 65 West of the 6 th P.M. in the County of Pueblo and State of Colorado, and being more particularly described as follows: Considering the North line of the NW Y4 of the NW Y4 of Section 22, Township 20 South, Range 65 West of the 6 th P.M. to bear N. 88 0 42'57" E. and all bearing contained herein being relative thereto. PACHECO TITLE AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM A -1 AND S -1 TO B -3 AND R -5 COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS PARK WEST BUSINESS CAMPUS FILING NO. 5 ISSUE Shall City Council approve a request to rezone the property from A -1, Agricultural One District and S -1, Government Use District, to B -3, Highway and Arterial Business District and R -5, Multiple Residential and Office District, to allow the development of vacant land for commercial and multifamily projects? RECOMMENDATION The Planning and Zoning Commission, at their April 11, 2007 regular meeting, voted 6 -0 to recommend approval. BACKGROUND With this request the applicant proposes to rezone the subject property to facilitate a commercial and multifamily subdivision of the property into five (5) lots. FINANCIAL IMPACT None.
