The zoning restrictions covering the following described property be changed from R -3, One and Two Family Residential District to B -2, Subregional Business District, and upon passage of this ordinance, zoning restrictions affecting B -2, Subregional Business District, shall apply to said property: Lots 21, 22 and 23, Block 9, College Hill Subdivision Filing No. 2 and more commonly known as: 1238 and 1240 Lake Avenue. PACHECO TITLE AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM R -3 TO B -2 COVERING PARCELS OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS 1238 AND 1240 LAKE AVENUE ISSUE Shall City Council approve a request to rezone the property from R -3, One and Two - Family Residential District, to B -2, Subregional Business District, in order to construct an office building? RECOMMENDATION The Planning and Zoning Commission, at their December 13, 2006 regular meeting, voted 6 -0 to recommend approval. BACKGROUND The applicant proposes rezoning the subject property from R -3, One and Two - Family Residential Zone District to B -2, Subregional Business Zone District to provide for the construction of an office building for the Letter Carriers Union. FINANCIAL IMPACT None.
