RECOMMENDATION That the allocation of positions be approved. BACKGROUND City Ordinance provides that the position allocation within each department be approved by City Council. Companion Ordinance is the Budget Ordinance, which allocates the dollars to the departments. There are 12 fewer positions allocated than there were in 2006. FINANCIAL IMPACT This provides for the positions allocated in the budget.
