ORDINANCE NO. 7541
AN ORDINANCE VACATING ALL OF DANAE DRIVE, WESLEY DRIVE, RUBERSON
DRIVE, 19 STREET, CARRIE LANE, RUBERSON COURT, NEW PARK COURT
WITHIN PARKSIDE ESTATES AT BOULEVARD PARK SUBDIVISION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that:
SECTION 1.
All of the Public Streets within "Parkside Estates at Boulevard Park ",
according to the recorded plat thereof filed for record January 15, 2003 at
Reception No. 1479624 of the Pueblo County Records.
are hereby vacated.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and
approval.

DRIVE, 19 STREET, CARRIE LANE, RUBERSON COURT, NEW PARK COURT
WITHIN PARKSIDE ESTATES AT BOULEVARD PARK SUBDIVISION PLAT
ISSUE
Shall City Council approve the street vacation to allow a resubdivision of the property to
create sixty -one (61) single - family lots and one (1) large lot for the redevelopment of the
Cesar Chavez Charter School and Dolores Huerta Preparatory High Schools?
RECOMMENDATION
The Planning and Zoning Commission, at their September 13, 2006, regular meeting,
voted 6 -0 to recommend approval.
BACKGROUND
Property is located north of Cesar Chavez Academy, south of 22 Street and east of
Spaulding Avenue.
The applicant proposes to vacate all of Danae Drive, Wesley Drive, Ruberson Drive, 19"'
Street, Carrie Lane, Ruberson Court, New Park Court as contained within Parkside
Estates at Boulevard Park. As part of separate applications, the applicant is requesting to
resubdivide the property to create sixty -one (61) single - family lots and one (1) large
parcel for the school sites, and to rezone the school lot from R -2 to S -1.
It is the recommendation of the Subdivision Review Committee (SRC) memo dated
August 30, 2006 that the vacation be approved.
