AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM 1 -2 AND A -1 TO BP COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS LOTS 1 THROUGH 10, BLOCK 2; LOTS 5 THROUGH 9; AND 11 THROUGH 20, BLOCK 3, FOUNTAIN PARK COMMERCIAL CENTER. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. The zoning restrictions covering the following described property be changed from 1 -2, Light Industrial District and A -1, Agricultural One District, to, BP, Business Park District, and upon passage of this ordinance, zoning restrictions affecting BP, Business Park District, shall apply to said property: A re- subdivision of Lots 1 through 10 Block 2 and Lots 5 through 9 and 11 through 20, Block 3, Fountain Park Commercial Center and a portion of the E Y of Section 12 and a portion of the SW Ya of the SE Ya of Section 1, Township 20 South, Range 65 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian. City of Pueblo, Pueblo County, Colorado. Said parcels contains 64.49 acres, more or less. and more commonly known as: Fountain Park Commercial Center, SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval. ISSUE Shall City Council approve a request to rezone the property from 1 -2, Light Industrial District and A -1, Agricultural One District, to a BP, Business Park District providing for a mixture of commercial and light industrial development? RECOMMENDATION The Planning and Zoning Commission, at their September 14, 2005, regular meeting, voted 5-0 to recommend approval. BACKGROUND Applicant proposes to rezone 74.33 acres from 1 -2, Light Industrial District and A -1, Agricultural One District to a BP, Business Park District providing for a mixture of commercial and light industrial development. FINANCIAL IMPACT None.
