AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM 1 -2 TO S -1 COVERING
PARCELS OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS HARP PHASE III AND PUEBLO TRANSIT
ADMINISTRATION BUILDING PROPERTY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The zoning restrictions covering the following described property be changed from 1 -2,
Light Industrial District, to, S -1, Government Use District, and upon passage of this ordinance,
zoning restrictions affecting S -1, Government Use District, shall apply to said property:
A portion of Block 3, Moores Subdivision and Lots 15 to 25 Including Block 3,
Central Pueblo; a portion of Lot 4 to 7, Block 3, Central Pueblo; north Y Lots 9, All
Lots 10 to 14, Block 3 Central Pueblo; Lots 21 to 23, Block 4 Central Pueblo; a
portion of Lot 11 to Lot 20 including Block 4 Central Pueblo,
and more commonly known as:
The area on both sides of Mechanic Street between Richmond Avenue and Grand Avenue
and the property located at 350 South Grand Avenue, known as the Pueblo Transit
Administration Building.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval.

COVERING PARCELS OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS HARP PHASE III
AND PUEBLO TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION BUILDING PROPERTY
ISSUE
Shall City Council approve a request to rezone the property from 1 -2, Light
Industrial District to S -1, Government Use District, for continuation (Phase III) of
the Pueblo Historic Arkansas Riverwalk Project?
RECOMMENDATION
The Planning and Zoning Commission, at their July 12, 2006 regular meeting,
voted 5 -0 to recommend approval.
BACKGROUND
On May 8, 2006, City Council approved Resolution No. 10709 approving the
design of Phase III A -1 of the HARP. With this request the City proposes to
rezone the subject property to align it into the proper Governmental Use
category.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
None.
