HomeMy WebLinkAbout07489ORDINANCE NO. 7489 AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM 1 -2, TO B -3, COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS 733 WEST 9 STREET BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1 The zoning restrictions covering the following described property be changed from 1 -2, Light Industrial District, to, B -3, Highway and Arterial Business District, and upon passage of this ordinance, zoning restrictions affecting B -3, Highway and Arterial Business District, shall apply to said property: Lots 7, Block 20, Thatcher and Thomas Subdivision and more commonly known as: 733 West 9th Street SECTION 2 This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval. PACHECO TITLE AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM 1 -2, TO B -3, COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS 733 WEST 9 STREET ISSUE Shall City Council approve a request to rezone the property from 1 -2, Light Industrial District to B -3, Highway and Arterial Business District? RECOMMENDATION The Planning and Zoning Commission, at their June 14, 2006 regular meeting, voted 6 -0 to rezone from 1 -2 to B -3. BACKGROUND With this request the applicant proposes to rezone the subject property to facilitate the sale of the home as a residence. As a residence in an 1 -2 Zone District the home could not be rebuilt if it were destroyed. FINANCIAL IMPACT None.
