HomeMy WebLinkAbout07465ORDINANCE NO. 7465 AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM B -1 TO R -5 COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS 5 STADIUM PLACE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. The zoning restrictions covering the following described property be changed from B -1, Neighborhood Business District, to R -5, Multiple Residential and Office District, and upon passage of this ordinance, zoning restrictions affecting R -5, Multiple Residential and Office District shall apply to said property: Lots 17 and 18 Block "B," Moore and Carlile's Resubdivision and more commonly known as: 5 STADIUM PLACE SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval. PACHECO TITLE AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM B -1 TO R -5 COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS 5 STADIUM PLACE ISSUE Shall City Council approve a request to rezone the property from B -1, Neighborhood Business District, to R -5 Multiple Residential and Office District? RECOMMENDATION The Planning and Zoning Commission, at their April 12, 2006 regular meeting, voted 6 -0 to recommend approval. BACKGROUND Applicant proposes to rezone the subject property to accommodate the division of the property into two (2) parcels through a Rearrangment of Property Boundaries application. By rearranging the dimensional characteristics of the property, the applicant will be able to sell the existing residence located at the rear of the property while maintaining ownership of the insurance office. FINANCIAL IMPACT None.
