AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM R -6 to B-4 COVERING A
PARCEL OF LAND KNOWN AS LOT 2, BLOCK 1 GREDIG SUBDIVISION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The zoning restrictions covering the following described property be changed
from R -6, Multiple Residential and Commercial District, to B -4, Regional Business
District, and upon passage of this ordinance, zoning restrictions affecting B -4,
Regional Business District shall apply to said property:
Lot 2, Block 1, Gredig Subdivision,
and more commonly known as:
4400 NORTH ELIZABETH STREET.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage
and approval.

COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND KNOWN AS LOT 2, BLOCK 1, GREDIG
SUBDIVISION
ISSUE
Shall City Council approve a request to rezone the property from R -6, Multiple -
Residential and Commercial District to B-4, Regional Business District?
RECOMMENDATION
The Planning and Zoning Commission, at their February 8, 2006 regular
meeting, voted 6 -0 to recommend approval.
BACKGROUND
The subject property is located at 4400 North Elizabeth Street.
Property owner proposes to develop the property into a multiple storage use
project, serving residential and commercial storage needs. On January 24, 2006,
the Zoning Board of Appeals conditionally approved a Special Use Permit to
allow bulk storage, warehousing and wholesaling on the property pending
approval of this rezoning request by City Council.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
None.
