AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM R -2 to R -2U COVERING A
PARCEL OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS RANCHO DEL SOL SUBDIVISION. 7TH FILING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The zoning restrictions covering the following described property be changed from R -2,
Single - Family Residential District, and upon passage of this ordinance, zoning restrictions affecting
R -2 U, Single - Family Residential District shall apply to said property:
LOTS 1 -11, BLOCK 2, RANCHO DEL SOL SUBDIVISION, 7TH FILING,
and more commonly known as:
RANCHO DEL SOL SUBDIVISION, 7TH FILING
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval.

COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS RANCHO DEL
SOL SUBDIVISION, 7TH FILING
ISSUE
Shall City Council approve a request to rezone the property from R -2, Single -
Family Residential District to R -2U, Single - Family Residential District?
RECOMMENDATION
The Planning and Zoning Commission, at their November 9, 2005 regular
meeting, voted 5 -0 to recommend approval.
BACKGROUND
The Rancho Del Sol Subdivision, 7th Filing, generally is located north of Fortino
Boulevard and southeast of Tierra Berienda and Paseo Del Norte.
On September 23, 1996, City Council approved the Rancho Del Sol, 7 th Filing
Subdivision (S- 96 -13). The applicant wishes to utilize the relaxed front yard
setback requirements of the R -2U zone district to provide more flexibility in siting
new single - family residences.
