AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 4, TITLE IV, OF THE PUEBLO MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE AND AMENDING CERTAIN
PROVISIONS THEREOF
ISSUE
Should the proposed Ordinance be approved?
RECOMMENDATION
The proposed Ordinance should be approved.
BACKGROUND
Several large commercial projects were being presented to this Department for construction.
Their standard plans for use nationwide showed far fewer rest room fixtures than our present
code requires. We felt that a compromise on fixtures required was in order to facilitate the
construction of these and possible future retail and office projects.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
None.
