HomeMy WebLinkAbout07377ORDINANCE NO. 7377 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY OF PUEBLO FISCAL YEAR 2005 STAFFING LEVEL FOR THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT BY ADDING AN ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER FOR URBAN RENEWAL POSITION WHEREAS, the Members of the Board of the Urban Renewal Authority and the City Manager have determined that for the purposes of economy and efficiency of operation, it is in the best interests of the public that the City provide management and administrative services to the Urban Renewal Authority by adding the position of Assistant City Manager for Urban Renewal to the Planning Department. The City and the Urban Renewal Authority are entering into a Management Services Agreement, by which the Authority will agree to reimburse the City for all related costs for the position, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: (brackets indicate matter being deleted, underscoring indicates matter being added) SECTION 1. The following portion of the 2005 staffing level for the Planning Department is amended as follows: Assistant City Manager for Urban Renewal 1 SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval. RECOMMENDATION The Ordinance be approved. BACKGROUND The Members of the Board of the Urban Renewal Authority and the City Manager have determined that for the purposes of economy and efficiency of operation, it is in the best interests of the public that the City provide management and administrative services to the Urban Renewal Authority by adding the position of Assistant City Manager for Urban Renewal to the Planning Department. FINANCIAL IMPACT There will be no additional budgeted cost to the City. All costs related to this position will be billed to the Urban Renewal Authority.
