ORDINANCE NO. 7312
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED WITHIN A PORTION
OF PARCEL H, PUEBLO MEMORIAL AIRPORT INDUSTRIAL PARK SUBDIVISION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that:
SECTION 1.
A utility easement located within a portion of Parcel H, Pueblo Memorial Airport
Industrial Park Subdivision and more particularly described as follows:
EASEMENT VACATION
A vacation of those portions of the existing 50' wide water line easement as shown on
the Pueblo Memorial Airport Industrial Park Subdivision plat as filed for record October
11, 1995 in Book 2836 at pages 665 -670, in the offices of the Pueblo County Clerk and
Recorder, Pueblo County, Colorado, located in a portion of the N'' /2 of the SE' /4 of
Section 25, Township 20 South, Range 64 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, County
of Pueblo, State of Colorado; being further described as follows:
PROPOSED EASEMENT TO BE VACATED NO. 1
BEGINNING at a point, said point being 1 foot north by 1 foot east of the NE corner of
the existing aircraft hangar, from which the E1/4 corner of said Section 25 bears
N 85 E (bearings based on the said Pueblo Memorial Airport Industrial Park
Subdivision) a distance of 935.46 feet; thence S 01 °34'21" E and parallel to the easterly
side of the said existing aircraft hangar a distance of 26.85 feet to a point on the
southerly line of the said existing 50' water line easement, said point being 1 foot east
of the said easterly side of the existing aircraft hangar; thence S 88 0 13'12" W along said
southerly line of the existing 50' water line easement a distance of 102.00 feet to a
point, said point being 1 foot west of the westerly side of the said existing aircraft
hangar; thence
N 01 °34'21" W and parallel to the said westerly side of the existing aircraft hangar a
distance of 27.21 feet to a point, said point being 1 foot north and 1 foot west of the NW
corner of the said existing aircraft hangar; thence N 88 0 25'39" E and parallel to the
northerly side of the said existing aircraft hangar a distance of 102.00 feet more or less
to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
is hereby vacated.

SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and
approval.

ISSUE
Shall City Council approve the vacation of a utility easement located within a
portion of Parcel H, Pueblo Memorial Airport Industrial Park Subdivision?
RECOMMENDATION
The Planning and Zoning Commission, at their April 13, 2005 regular meeting,
voted 5 -0 to recommend approval.
BACKGROUND
The applicant, Department of Public Works, is requesting the relocation of an
utility easement to relocate an existing water line. It is the recommendation of the
Subdivision Review Committee (SRC) memo dated April 25, 2005 that the
vacation be approved.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
None.
