HomeMy WebLinkAbout07294ORDINANCE NO. 7294 AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM R -2 TO R -3 COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS WESTGATE ON THE BOULEVARD SUBDIVISION, FILING NO. 1 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. The zoning restrictions covering the following described property be changed from R -2, Single - Family Residential District to R -3, One and Two - Family Residential District, and upon passage of this ordinance, zoning restrictions affecting R -3, One and Two - Family Residential Business District shall apply to said property: ALL LOTS, BLOCKS 3, 4, AND 5, WESTGATE ON THE BOULEVARD SUBDIVISION, FILING NO. 1, and more commonly known as: WESTGATE ON THE BOULEVARD SUBDIVISION. FILING NO. 1. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval. RECOMMENDATION The Planning and Zoning Commission, at their February 9, 2005 regular meeting, voted 6 -0 to recommend approval. BACKGROUND Westgate on the Boulevard Subdivision, Filing No. 1 is generally located on the west side of Pueblo and on the southern side of Westview Drive, west of Perry Avenue. The applicant is requesting that the property be rezoned from a R -2, Single - Family Residential District to a R -3, One and Two - Family Residential District. This neighborhood is primarily made up of two- family dwellings. FINANCIAL IMPACT None.
