AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM R -2 TO R -3 COVERING A PARCEL OF
LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS WESTGATE ON THE BOULEVARD SUBDIVISION, FILING NO. 1
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The zoning restrictions covering the following described property be changed from R -2, Single -
Family Residential District to R -3, One and Two - Family Residential District, and upon passage of this
ordinance, zoning restrictions affecting R -3, One and Two - Family Residential Business District shall
apply to said property:
ALL LOTS, BLOCKS 3, 4, AND 5, WESTGATE ON THE BOULEVARD SUBDIVISION,
FILING NO. 1,
and more commonly known as:
WESTGATE ON THE BOULEVARD SUBDIVISION. FILING NO. 1.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval.

AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM R -2 TO R -3
COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS WESTGATE ON
THE BOULEVARD SUBDIVISION, FILING NO. 1
ISSUE
Shall City Council approve a request to rezone the property from a R -2, Single -
Family Residential District to a R -3, One and Two - Family Residential District?
RECOMMENDATION
The Planning and Zoning Commission, at their February 9, 2005 regular
meeting, voted 6 -0 to recommend approval.
BACKGROUND
Westgate on the Boulevard Subdivision, Filing No. 1 is generally located on the
west side of Pueblo and on the southern side of Westview Drive, west of Perry
Avenue. The applicant is requesting that the property be rezoned from a R -2,
Single - Family Residential District to a R -3, One and Two - Family Residential
District. This neighborhood is primarily made up of two- family dwellings.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
None.
