HomeMy WebLinkAbout07175ORDINANCE NO. 7175 AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM S -1 TO R -2 COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE VILLAGE GREEN AT WALKING STICK, A SPECIAL AREA PLAN LOCATED NORTH OF WALKING STICK BOULEVARD AND EAST OF THE WALKING STICK CLUB HOUSE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. The zoning restrictions covering the following described property be changed from S -1, Governmental Use District, to R -2, Single - Family Residential District and upon passage of this ordinance, zoning restrictions affecting R -2, Single - Family Residential District shall apply to said property: LOTS 1 -55 AND PARCELS A, B, C, D AND E, VILLAGE GREEN AT WALKING STICK, A SPECIAL AREA PLAN, and more commonly known as: THE VILLAGE GREEN AT WALKING STICK, A SPECIAL AREA PLAN LOCATED NORTH OF WALKING STICK BOULEVARD AND EAST OF THE WALKING STICK CLUB HOUSE. SECTION 2_ This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval. RECOMMENDATION The Planning and Zoning Commission voted 6 -0 to recommend approval. BACKGROUND The development is intended to be a gated community for 55 single - family residences. The Planning and Zoning Commission also voted 6 -0 to recommend approval of the concurrent subdivision plat (S- 04 -08) and special area plan (SAP- 04 -03) applications. FINANCIAL IMPACT None
