AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM A -1 TO R -2 COVERING A
PARCEL OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS WEST LEE HILLS SUBDIVISION FILING NO. 1
WHICH IS LOCATED WEST OF KINGSROYAL BOULEVARD AND SOUTH OF LEHIGH
AVENUE (EXTENDED WEST)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The zoning restrictions covering the following described property be changed from A -1,
Agricultural One District, to R -2, Single - Family Residential District, and upon passage of this
ordinance, zoning restrictions affecting R -2, Single - Family Residential District shall apply to said
property:
LOT 115, BLOCK 5, WEST LEE PARK SUBDIVISION FILING NO. 1,
and more commonly known as:
WEST OF KINGSROYAL BOULEVARD AND SOUTH OF LEHIGH
AVENUE (EXTENDED WEST).
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval.

COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS WEST LEE HILLS

ISSUE
Shall City Council approve a request to rezone the property from an A -1,
Agricultural One District to a R -2, Single - Family Residential District for the
purpose of residential development?
RECOMMENDATION
The Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously (7 -0) to recommend
approval of the rezoning.
BACKGROUND
The applicant is requesting that the property be rezoned from A -1 to R -2. This
will allow residential development. The Planning and Zoning Commission also
voted 7 -0 to recommend approval of the concurrent subdivision plat (S- 04 -03)
application.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
None.
