HomeMy WebLinkAbout07165ORDINANCE NO. 7165 AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM A -1 TO R -2 COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS WEST LEE HILLS SUBDIVISION FILING NO. 1 WHICH IS LOCATED WEST OF KINGSROYAL BOULEVARD AND SOUTH OF LEHIGH AVENUE (EXTENDED WEST) BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. The zoning restrictions covering the following described property be changed from A -1, Agricultural One District, to R -2, Single - Family Residential District, and upon passage of this ordinance, zoning restrictions affecting R -2, Single - Family Residential District shall apply to said property: LOT 115, BLOCK 5, WEST LEE PARK SUBDIVISION FILING NO. 1, and more commonly known as: WEST OF KINGSROYAL BOULEVARD AND SOUTH OF LEHIGH AVENUE (EXTENDED WEST). SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval. RECOMMENDATION The Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously (7 -0) to recommend approval of the rezoning. BACKGROUND The applicant is requesting that the property be rezoned from A -1 to R -2. This will allow residential development. The Planning and Zoning Commission also voted 7 -0 to recommend approval of the concurrent subdivision plat (S- 04 -03) application. FINANCIAL IMPACT None.
