The vacation of street and alley within a portion of Block 46 inChamberiin's Subdivision and more particularly described as follows: STREET VACATION DESCRIPTION: THE NORTH 20 FEET OF GOLF GLENN DRIVE ADJACENT TO LOTS 31 THROUGH 40, BLOCK 46 AS PLATTED IN CHAMBERLIN'S SUBDIVISION, ACCORDING TO THE RECORDED PLAT THEREOF, FILED FOR RECORD AUGUST 8, 1887. ALLEY VACATION DESCRIPTION: THE ALLEY ADJACENT TO LOTS 11 THROUGH 20, AND LOTS 31 THROUGH 40, BLOCK 46 AS PLATTED IN CHAMBERLIN'S SUBDIVISION, ACCORDING TO THE RECORDED PLAT THEREOF, FILED FOR RECORD AUGUST 8, 1887. are hereby vacated. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval. RECOMMENDATION The Planning and Zoning Commission voted 4 -0 -1 (Lytle) at their regular meeting of December 10, 2003 to recommend approval. BACKGROUND The applicant is requesting that 40' of Golf Glenn Drive, near the Pueblo Boulevard right -of -way, and the associated alley be vacated for the purpose to establish a drainage easement. This vacation of property is intended to provide for a detention pond to serve the residential development on the remainder of the property in the subdivision. It is the recommendation of the Subdivision Review Committee (SRC) that the vacation be approved. FINANCIAL IMPACT None
