OF $11,634 FOR THE 2004 SCHOOL CROSSING GUARD PROGRAM.
ISSUE

to the School Crossing Guard Program increasing the budget to $61,634.
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of Resolution
BACKGROUND
The Transportation Department requests the budget for the 2004 School
Crossing Guard Program be increased by an additional $11,634 to a total of
$61,634. The program has been allocated $50,000; however, this number was
erroneously carried forward from an early draft of the 2004 budget. The
allocation should have been later corrected to $61,634.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The School Crossing Guard Program is funded by surcharge revenue received
from Municipal Court. Year -to -date balances indicate the surcharge revenue will
sufficiently cover the additional allocation of $11,634.
