ORDINANCE NO. 7111
AN ORDINANCE VACATING ALL OF THAT PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT
LYING WITHIN LOT 1, VILLAGER INN SUBDIVISION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that:
SECTION 1.
A portion of the public utility easement lying within Lot 1, Villager Inn Subdivision, and
more particularly described as follows:
ALL OF THAT PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED WITHIN LOT 1, VILLAGER
INN SUBDIVISON ACCORDING TO THE RECORDED PLAT THEREOF FILED FOR
RECORD DECEMBER 18, 2002 AT RECEPTION NO. 1475346 IN THE RECORDS OF
THE PUEBLO COUNTY CLERK AND RECORDER BEING MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING AT THE NE CORNER OF SAID LOT 1; THENCE S 05 38'12" W ALONG
THE EAST LINE OF SAID LOT 1 A DISTANCE OF 10.22 FEET; THENCE N 84 06'46"
W A DISTANCE OF 153.45 FEET; THENCE N 05 53'14" E A DISTANCE OF 9.55
FEET TO A POINT ON THE NORTH LINE OF SAID LOT 1; THENCE S 84 21'48" E
A DISTANCE OF 153.40 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING,
is hereby vacated.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and

ISSUE
Shall City Council approve the vacation of the public utility easement?
RECOMMENDATION
The Planning and Zoning Commission voted 5 -0 to recommend approval.
BACKGROUND
The applicant is requesting the vacation of all of the public utility easement
located within Lot 1, Villager Inn Subdivision in order to erect a freestanding sign.
All of the conditions set forth by the Planning and Zoning Commission have been
addressed to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works.
