TITLE
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING SEVEN OAKS CONDOMINIUMS SPECIAL
AREA PLAN
ISSUE
Shall City Council approve a request to combine four (4) lots into one site for the
purposes of constructing 34 town homes with common amenities and private road
(Redwood Lane)?
RECOMMENDATION
The Planning Commission voted unanimously (6 -0) to recommend approval.
BACKGROUND
The applicant is proposing to construct 34 town homes in 8 detached structures.
The development will also have common amenities and will be built with a private
street (Redwood Lane). Due to a residential use being a Use by Review in the B-
4 zone district, this proposal also went before the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA).
It was approved with conditions on 2.25.03. The applicant has addressed, to the
satisfaction of the Director of Public Works, all of the items that were identified in
the Planning Commission's approval, which included the ZBA's conditions.
