HomeMy WebLinkAbout07049ORDINANCE NO. 7049 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 9 OF TITLE XII OF THE PUEBLO MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO SPECIAL DISTRICTS TO PROVIDE MAINTENANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: (brackets indicate matter omitted, underscoring indicates matter added) SECTION 1 Sections 14 and 15 of Chapter 9, Title XII of the Pueblo Municipal Code are amended to read as follows: Sec. 12 -9 -14. Governing body and [ A]advisory committee The City Council shall be the governing body of any district created under this Chapter. The City [Council may] Manager shall appoint an advisory committee consisting of owners of real property within the district and representatives of City's Departments to advise the City Council on the public improvements within the district to be maintained and any other matters concerned with the operation of the district. Sec. 12 -9 -15. Obligations of City. Neither the organization of any district nor any provision of this Chapter shall impose any obligation on the City to provide maintenance within any such district to a higher degree or greater than that provided elsewhere in the City or to expend funds for maintenance in excess of the revenues received from district mill levies SECTION 2 This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval.
