HomeMy WebLinkAbout06972ORDINANCE NO. 6972 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A PROJECT FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF LIGHTING AND BALLASTS FOR THE MAINTENANCE, BUS STORAGE, WASH BAY FACILITIES AND ADMINISTRATION AREAS OF THE PUEBLO TRANSIT BUILDING FOR ENERGY CONSERVATION EFFORTS, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. The budget for Grant Agreement #CO -03- 0138 -00, 5309 Capital Grant 2002 between the City of Pueblo, a Municipal Corporation, and the United States of America, Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration has been modified to make available $6,796 federal funds for the purpose of replacing lights and ballasts at all Pueblo Transit facilities for energy conservation efforts ( "Project ".) SECTION 2. The Project is hereby approved and funds in the amount of $8,495 are hereby appropriated for the Project including the grant funds in the amount of $6,796 and $1,699 from the 2003 General Fund Account. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall become effective upon final passage and approval.
