HomeMy WebLinkAbout15710RESOLUTION NO. 15710 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A REVOCABLE PERMIT (REV-24-16) TO AMERICAN LEGION 2 FOR THE CLOSURE OF THE 700 BLOCK OF WEST 9TH STREET BETWEEN CRAIG STREET AND WEST STREET TO HOST THEIR CAR/BIKE SHOW ON AUGUST 17, 2024, FROM 6:00 A.M. TO 3:00 P.M. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that SECTION 1. The attached Revocable Permit (REV-24-16) is authorized to be issued to American Legion 2 for the closure of the 700 block of West 9th Street between Craig Street and West Street to host their car/bike show on August 17, 2024, from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. SECTION 2. The use of the public right-of-way granted hereby is subject to all limitations, terms, and conditions set forth in the attached Revocable Permit. SECTION 3. The officers of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with this Resolution to implement the policies and procedures described herein. SECTION 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval. TO 3:00 P.M. SUMMARY: Attached is a Revocable Permit (REV-24-16) submitted by the American Legion 2. PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: None. BACKGROUND: The applicant has submitted a Revocable Permit application (REV-24-16) requesting the closure of the 700 block of West 9th Street between Craig Street and West Street to host their car/bike show on August 17, 2024, from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: None. BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: The Revocable Permit Review Committee recommends approval. STAKEHOLDER PROCESS: None. ALTERNATIVES: Failure to approve the Resolution will prevent the applicant from using the streets listed above. RECOMMENDATION: Approval of the Resolution. ATTACHMENTS: 1.
