ORDINANCE NO. 6838
AN ORDINANCE VACATING STREETS AND EASEMENTS
LYING NORTH OF EAGLERIDGE BOULEVARD AND
WEST OF PIONEER ROAD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
All of Rockdale Court, as platted in Ridge Gate, Filing No. 4, A Special Area
Plan, according to the recorded plat thereof, filed for record January 9, 2002. All of the
Drainage Easements, being 5 feet in width, as platted in Lots 12 through 22, Block 1, in
Ridge Gate, Filing No. 4, A Special Area Plan, according to the recorded plat thereof,
filed for record January 9, 2002;
AND
All of the Pedestrian Easement, being 10 feet in width, as platted in Lot 12, Block
1, in Ridge Gate, Filing No. 4, A Special Area Plan, according to the recorded plat
thereof, filed for record January 9, 2002;
and are hereby vacated.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and
approval.

AN ORDINANCE VACATING STREETS AND EASEMENTS LYING NORTH OF
EAGLERIDGE BOULEVARD AND WEST OF PIONEER ROAD
ISSUE
Shall City Council approve a request to vacate streets and easements lying north
of Eagleridge Boulevard and west of Pioneer Road?
RECOMMENDATION
The Planning and Zoning Commission voted 6 -0 to recommend approval of the
public street and easement vacation of streets and easements lying north of
Eagleridge Boulevard and west of Pioneer Road.
BACKGROUND
The applicant was required to submit the partial roadway vacations as one of the
conditions of the Regency Crest Annexation Agreement. This plat vacates a
portion of Monte Vista Avenue and also the dead -end stub of Del Norte Avenue
south of Sage Street. The applicant was required to request a vacation of the
portions of right -of -way within 90 days following the approval of the Regency Crest
Annexation. The vacation of these portions of right -of -way are being done in
preparation for the development of Regency Crest 3 rd Filing Subdivision.
