The zoning restrictions covering the following described property be changed from B-4, Regional Business District, to R -2, Single Family Residential District, and upon passage of this ordinance, zoning restrictions affecting R -2, Single Family Residential District shall apply to said property: LOT 14, BLOCK 138, SOUTH PUEBLO SUBDIVISION, and more commonly known as: 308 PALM STREET. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval. RECOMMENDATION The Planning and Zoning Commission voted 6 -0 to recommended approval of the rezoning. BACKGROUND The applicant is requesting that his property be rezoned from a B -4 commercial zone district to an R -2 single - family zone district. The property currently has an existing single - family home, which has a legal non - conforming use certificate. The applicant wishes to rezone to obtain financing on the house. FINANCIAL IMPACT None
