AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS
FROM B -4 TO R -2 COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND
COMMONLY KNOWN AS 308 PALM STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The zoning restrictions covering the following described property be changed
from B-4, Regional Business District, to R -2, Single Family Residential District, and
upon passage of this ordinance, zoning restrictions affecting R -2, Single Family
Residential District shall apply to said property:
LOT 14, BLOCK 138, SOUTH PUEBLO SUBDIVISION,
and more commonly known as:
308 PALM STREET.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and
approval.

COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS 308 PALM STREET
ISSUE
Shall City Council approve a request to rezone the property to an R -2 single - family
Zone District that will allow the applicant to obtain financing on an existing single -
family home, which has a legal non - conforming use certificate?
RECOMMENDATION
The Planning and Zoning Commission voted 6 -0 to recommended approval of the
rezoning.
BACKGROUND
The applicant is requesting that his property be rezoned from a B -4 commercial
zone district to an R -2 single - family zone district. The property currently has an
existing single - family home, which has a legal non - conforming use certificate. The
applicant wishes to rezone to obtain financing on the house.
