ORDINANCE NO. 6722
AN ORDINANCE VACATING DRAINAGE EASEMENTS COMMONLY KNOWN AS
AUTOPLEX SUBDIVISION LOCATED SOUTH OF US HIGHWAY 50 WEST AND
NORTHEAST OF HOPI DRIVE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that:
SECTION 1.
All of the 20 foot Drainage Easement located between Lot 5 & Lot 6 and Lot 6 & Lot 7, Autoplex
Subdivision, according to the recorded plat thereof, filed for record August 3, 2000 under Reception
No. 1344458 of the Pueblo County Clerk and Recorder.
is hereby vacated.
SECTION 2.
With the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission, this ordinance is
approved with the following condition:
Building permits shall not be issued for any of the lots until a drainage plan is submitted
and approved for each building site.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and
approval.:

ISSUE
Shall City Council approve a request to vacate drainage easements on the Autoplex
Subdivision?
RECOMMENDATION
The Planning and Zoning Commission voted 7 -0 to recommend approval of the drainage
easement vacation subject to the following condition:
Building permits shall not be issued for any of the lots until a drainage plan is
submitted and approved for each building site.
BACKGROUND
The drainage easement vacations are proposed in order for a building permit to be secured
for a structure that is constructed across existing lot lines and areas that are encumbered by
drainage easements.
