ORDINANCE NO. 6734
AN ORDINANCE VACATING STREETS AND ALLEYS WHICH LIE
WITHIN THE PERIMETER BOUNDARY SOUTH OF WEST 22 STREET
AND WEST OF SCOTT AVENUE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
Portions of the streets and alleys, as platted in the following subdivision, which lie
within the perimeter boundary South of West 22 Street and West of Scott
Avenue and being more particularly described as follows:
1. East -west alleys in Blocks 16, 17, 18, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 37, 38, 39, 40, 58,
59, and 60.
2. Strips described as follows: The north 10.00 feet of said Candice Lane
(formerly 21 Street) adjoining Blocks 6, 7, 8, and 9 of said Chamberlin's
Subdivision, and the south10.00 feet of said Candice Lane adjoining Blocks
16, 17, 18, and 19 of said Chamberlin's Subdivision.
3. Parcel A
Basis of bearings: The south line of Block 19, of said Chamberlin's
Subdivision being monumented on both ends by a #5 rebar with a 1 ' / Z "
aluminum cap marked "JR ENG LTD. RLS 17502" is assumed to bear N 89'
59' 49" E. Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 21, Block 10 of
Chamberlin's Subdivision; Thence N 89' 59' 49" E along the north right -of-
way line of Candice Lane (formerly 21 Street) a distance of 115.20 feet to a
point on a non - tangent curve, concave southeasterly, having a radius of 52.00
feet with a radial line of said curve through said point bearing N 39' 43' 06" W;
thence along said curve through a central angle of 15' 03' 02" an arc distance
of 13.66 feet; Thence S 89' 59'49" W a distance of 105.56 feet to appoint on
a non - tangent curve, concave westerly, having a radius of 230.00 feet, with a
radial line of said curve through said point bearing N 89'00'55" E.
Thence along said curve through a central angle of 2' 29' 36" an arc distance
of 10.01 feet to the point of beginning. Said parcel A contains 1099.35
square feet, more or less to be vacated.
4. Parcel B
Basis of bearings: The south line of Block 19, of said Chamberlin's
Subdivision being monumented on both ends by a #5 rebar with a 1 ' /z`
aluminum cap marked "JR ENG LTD. RLS 17502" is assumed to bear N 89'
59' 49" E. Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 20 of
Chamberlin's Subdivision;
Thence N 89' 59' 49" E along the south right -of -way line of Candice Lane
(formerly 21S Street) a distance of 114.77 feet to a point on a non - tangent

curve, concave northeasterly, having a radius of 52.00 feet with a radial line
of said curve through said point bearing S 39'42'43" W;
Thence along said curve through a central angle of 15'03'02" an arc distance
of 13.66 feet; Thence S 89' 59' 49" W a distance of 105.56 feet;
Thence S 00'00'11" E a distance of 10.00 feet to the point of beginning.
Said Parcel B contains 1097.43 square feet, more or less to be vacated.
5. Strips described as follows: The north 10.00 feet of said 19 Street (formerly
20 Street)
Adjoining Blocks 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20 of said Chamberlin's Subdivision,
and the south 10.00 feet of said 19 street adjoining Blocks 26, 27, 28, 29,
and 30 of said Chamberlin's Subdivision.
6. Strips described as follows: The north 10.00 feet of said 17 Street (formerly
18 Street)
Adjoining Blocks 37, 38, 39, and 40 of said Chamberlin's Subdivision and the
South 10.00 feet of said 17 Street adjoining Blocks 47, 48, 49, and 50 of
said Chamberlin's Subdivision.
7. Strips described as follows : the north 10.00 feet of said Golf Glen Dr.
(formerly 17 Street)
Adjoining Blocks 47, 48, 49, and 50 of said Chamberlin's Subdivision, and the
south 10.00 feet of said Golf Glen Drive adjoining Blocks 57, 58, 59, and 60 of
said Chamberlin's Subdivision.
All being filed in Chamberlin's Subdivision according to the recorded Plat
thereof, filed for record August eighth, 1887, Book #2, Page 44, Reception
#23687,
are hereby vacated.
