ORDINANCE NO. 6721
AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM
R -2 to S -1 COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND COMMONLY
KNOWN AS 1030 WEST ORMAN AVENUE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1
The zoning restrictions covering the following described property be changed from R -2,
Single - Family Residential District, to S -1, Governmental Use District and upon passage of this
ordinance, zoning restrictions affecting S -1, Governmental Use District, shall apply to said
property:
Lots 1 to 4, Block 21, Colorado Coal and Iron Co's Addition #3, and more commonly
known as:
1030 West Orman Avenue
SECTION 2
The ordinance is approved upon the following conditions: 1) Submittal to the City Clerk
a parking plan approved by the City Transportation Department showing parking related to the
use of these lots provided for in the Gorsich Center parking area; 2) Submittal to the City Clerk a
Pueblo Community College Master Plan, which is to be approved by the City of Pueblo Planning
and Zoning Commission by March 1, 2002; and 3) Applicant must preserve and maintain all
existing landscaping at 1030 West Orman Avenue in the same manner as a single - family
residence. If any of these conditions are not timely met, the Planning and Zoning Commission
shall institute proceedings to rezone the property to R -2, Single - Family Residential District.
SECTION 3
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval.
