HomeMy WebLinkAbout06478ORDINANCE NO. 6478 AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM I -2 TO B -3 COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS 721 -725 WEST 9TH STREET SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS SUBSEQUENTLY BEING MET BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that; SECTION I. The zoning restrictions covering the following described property be changed from I -2, Light Industrial District, and B -3, Highway and Arterial Business District, and upon passage of this ordinance, zoning restrictions affecting B -3, Highway and Arterial Business District, shall apply to said property: Lots 8 and 9, Block 20, Thatcher and Thomas Subdivision, and more commonly known as: 721 -725 West 9th Street. SECTION 2. With the recommendations of the Planning and Zoning Commission, this zoning ordinance is approved with the following conditions: The property owner shall remove the existing three parking spaces in front of the building and close the easterly driveway. The City Planning and Zoning Commission is hereby authorized and directed to initiate proceedings to rezone the above - described property to an I -2, Light Industrial District, if the property owners or his heirs, successors or assigns fail to meet these conditions within six (6) months of passage of this ordinance. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval.
