ORDINANCE NO. 6287
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE AREA COMMONLY
KNOWN AND DESCRIBED AS EAST SIDE OF 3600 BLOCK
PUEBLO BOULEVARD NORTH
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended that the
area described in Section 1 hereof be annexed to the City of Pueblo; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore found and determined by Resolution
that the Petition for Annexation and the area described in Section 1 hereof to be in compliance
with the notice and other applicable provisions of the Municipal Annexation Act of 1965 and
C.R.S. § 31 -12 -104, 105 and 107 (1); and
WHEREAS, the City Council has by Resolution found and determined that an election
is not required under C.R.S. §31 -12 -107 (2) and no additional terms and conditions are to be
imposed upon the area described in Section 1 other than those set fort in the Petition for
Annexation; NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that:
SECTION 1.
The following described area situated in Pueblo County, Colorado, is hereby annexed
to Pueblo, a Municipal Corporation, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Petition
For Annexation, and the official map of the City shall be amended to show such annexation:
A tract of land conveyed by deed recorded in Book 1882 Page 15 of the Pueblo
County records, located in the W %2 of the NW 1/4 of Section 15, T.20S., R.65
W. of the 6th P.M. being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point of intersecction of the South line of the NW 1/4 of said Section
15 with the Easterly R.O.W. line of Pueblo Blvd., from which point the W 1/4 corner
of said Section 15 bears S.88 °43'53" W., a distance of 80.0 feet; (1) thence N. 29 0 07'
23" E., along the Easterly R.O.W. line of said Pueblo Blvd., a distance of 478.0 feet;

(2) thence N. 17 20'53" E., continuing along said Easterly R.O.W. line, a distance of
76.69 feet; (3) thence N. 88 °43'53" E. and parallel with the South line of the NW 1/4
of said Section 15, a distance of 950.82 feet; (4) thence S.01 °3756 "E., a distance
of 485.00 feet, more or less to the South line of the NW 1/4 of said Section 15; (5)
thence S.88 °43'53" W., along the South line of the NW 1/4 of said Section 15, a
distance of 1220.21 feet, more or less, to the Point of Beginning
AND
All of Parcel A of Subdivision Variance No. 423, according to the recorded plat
thereof, filed for record March 16, 1990 in Book 2489 at Page 67 of the Pueblo
County records, containing 31.130 acres, total.
SECTION 2.
Within thirty (30) days after the effective date of the Ordinance, the City Clerk shall:
(a) File one copy of the annexation map with the original of this ordinance in the office
of the City Clerk;
(b) File two certified copies of this Ordinance and annexation map with the Pueblo
County Clerk and Recorder;
(c) File one certified copy of the annexation map and this Ordinance with the
Southeastern Colorado Water Conservancy District.
SECTION 3.
The City Council hereby consents to the inclusion of the annexed area in the Southeastern
Water Conservancy District pursuant to C.R. S. §37 -45 -136. (3.6).
SECTION 4.
This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and the
annexation shall be effective for ad valorem tax purposes on and after January 1, 1999
