AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5989
TO CORRECT LEGAL DESCRIPTION CONTAINED IN
SECTION 1 THEREOF
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The legal description contained in Section 1 of Ordinance No. 5989 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
A parcel of land situated in the SE 1/4 of Section 9, Township 21 South,
Range 65 West of the 6th Principal Meridian and located within Columbia
Heights according to the recorded plat thereof, filed for record May 23, 1888,
and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Northwesterly right -of -way of Colorado State
Highway No. 78, said point also being the East line of New York Avenue
of said Columbia Heights; Thence Northerly along said East line a distance
of 936.78 feet to the Northwest corner of Block 25 of said Columbia Heights;
Thence Easterly along the North line of said Block 25 a distance of 468.00
feet to the Northeast corner of said Block 25; Thence Northerly along the
East line of Block 16 of said Columbia Heights a distance of 303.18 feet
to a point on the Southerly line of Regency Ridge Subdivision, 2nd Filing,
(existing City limits line); Thence along said Southerly line a curve to the
left a distance of 117.11 feet, said curve having a radius of 420.00 feet and a
central angle of 15 °58'34 "; Thence Northeasterly to the South line of Ashland
Avenue of said Columbia Heights, said point being 44.39 feet West of the
Northeast corner of Block 14 of said Columbia Heights; Thence Easterly
along the North line of said Block 14 and the North line of Block 13 of said
Columbia Heights a distance of 124.91 feet; Thence Southeasterly perpendi-
cular to the right -of -way of Colorado State Highway No. 78 a distance of
583.66 feet to the North right -of -way of said Highway; Thence leaving
(existing City Limits line), Southwesterly along said North right -of -way
a distance of 1831.05 feet to the point of beginning, said parcel containing
23.19 acres more or less,
A parcel of land located in the Northl /2 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 9,
Township 21 South, Range 65 West, of the 6th Principal Meridian, City of
Pueblo, County of Pueblo, State of Colorado and being more particularly
described by meets and bounds as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Northerly right -of -way of Colorado State High-
way No. 78, said point also being the most easterly corner of Thames Drive
as recorded within Regency Ridge Subdivision, 1st Filing in Book 2791 at
Page 134 of the Pueblo County Records: Thence N 37 °26'40" W along the
Easterly line of said Thames Drive a distance of 651.41 feet; Thence N 52°
33'20" E a distance of 123.83 feet; Thence S 88° 23'48" E a distance of
250.00 feet; Thence N 71 ° 48' 00" E a distance of 132.93 feet;
Thence N 00° 31' 22" E a distance of 85.06 feet; Thence S 88° 23' 48" E a
distance of 332.50 feet to the west line of Regency Square Subdivision as
recorded in Book 1857 at Page 726 of the Pueblo County Records: Thence
S 00° 31' 22" W along said west line a distance of 243.08 feet to the center-
line of vacated Ashland Avenue of Columbia Heights according to the
recorded plat thereof filed for record May 23, 1888; Thence N 89° 28' 38"
W along said centerline a distance of 342.00 feet to the centerline of vacated
Eiler Avenue of said Columbia Heights; Thence S 00° 31' 22" W along the
centerline of said Eiler Avenue a distance of 414.10 feet to the northerly
right -of -way of said Colorado State Highway No. 78; Thence S 52° 33' 20"
W along said right -of -way a distance of 80.12 feet to the point of beginning.
Said parcel contains 5.74 acres more or less.
SECTION 2.
Ordinance No. 5989 as amended by Section 1 hereof is hereby approved, confirmed
and ratified.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval.
