ORDINANCE NO. 6123
AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS
FROM I -3 TO H.B. COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND
COMMONLY KNOWN AS VACANT LAND NW OF THE
PUEBLO UNION DEPOT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO,
that:
SECTION 1.
The zoning restrictions covering the following described
property be changed from I -3, Heavy Industrial District, to
H.B., Historic Business Zone District, and upon passage of
this ordiannce, zoning restrictions affecting H.B., Historic
Business Zone District, shall apply to said property:
A parcel of land situated in the Northeast one -
quarter of the Southwest one - quarter of Section
36, Township 20 South, Range 65 West of the
Sixth Principal Meridian, City of Pueblo, County
of Pueblo, State of Colorado, being a portion of
that land described in deed from the Denver and
Rio Grande Western Railroad Company to the Southern
Pacific Transportation Company, as recorded
December 29, 1993 in Book 2703 at Page 364 under
Reception No. 1029790 in the office of the Clerk
and Recorder of Pueblo County, and described as
follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the Northwesterly
line of Union Avenue and the Southwesterly line of
B Street, as platted in the former town of South
Pueblo, now a part of the City of Pueblo, according
to the recorded plat thereof, being also a point on
the boundary of Pueblo Union Station Subdivision
according to the recorded plat thereof; Thence N
45° 00' 00" W, along the boundary of said Pueblo
Union Station Subdivision, a distance of 730.00
feet to the Northeast corner of said Subdivision
and the Point of Beginning; Thence continuing
N 45 00' 00" W, along the said Southwesterly line
of B Street, a distance of 190.00 feet; Thence
N 83° 03' 00" W, a distance of 120.00 feet;
Thence N 37 00' 00" W, a distance of 261.00
feet; Thence along the arc of a curve to the
right whose radius is 563.69 feet, a distance
of 97.50 feet; Thence southeasterly, along the
arc of a curve to the left whose center bears
N 82° 19' 59" E, and whose radius is 804.24
feet, a distance of 301.34 feet to a point
50 feet from measured at right angles to the
centerline of the existing main track of the
AT &SF Railway Company;
Thence Continuing Southeasterly 50 feet from
and parallel to said centerline the following
two (2) courses:
1) S 29° 08' 05" E, a distance of 200.01 feet;
2) Along the arc of a curve to the left whose
radius is 1382.69 feet, a distance of 181.76
feet to the Northwesterly corner of said
Pueblo Union Station Subdivision;
Thence N 45° 00' 00" E, along the boundary line
of said Pueblo Union Station Subdivision, 242.69
feet to the point of beginning.
The basis of bearings for the above - described parcel
is a line from a pin and cap with LS #6128 monumented
the Northeasterly corner of the Pueblo Union Station
Subdivsision to a stone in a monument box at the
intersection of Victoria Street and B Street said
line bears S 52 07' 39" E with the length of the
line being 402.97 feet, established so that the
right -of -way line of B Street bears S 45" 00' 00"
E, as platted,
and more commonly known as:
Vacant land Northwest of the Pueblo Union Depot.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
final passage and approval.
