HomeMy WebLinkAbout06036ORDINANCE NO. 6036 AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS FROM R -2 TO B -2 COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND COMMONLY KNOWN AS 410 INDIANA AVENUE AND 2100 E. ROUTT AVENUE SUBJECT TO CONDITION SUBSEQUENTLY BEING MET BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that: SECTION 1. The zoning restrictions covering the following described property be changed from R -2, Single- Family Residential Dis- trict, to B -2, Subregional Business District, and, upon passage of this ordinance, zoning restrictions affecting B -2, Subregional Business District, shall apply to said property: Lots 1 - 4, inclusive, Block 37, Lake Minnequa Addition, and more commonly known as: 410 Indiana Avenue and 2100 E. Routt Avenue. SECTION 2. This zoning ordinance, upon recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission , is approved with the following condition: that ten (10) paved, offstreet parking spaces be provided. The City Planning and Zoning Commission is hereby authorized and directed to initiate proceedings to rezone the above - described property to an R -2, Single - Family Residential District, if the property owners or his heirs, successors or assigns fail to meet the condition withinn six (6) months of passage of this ordinance. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval.
