AN ORDINANCE CHANGING ZONING RESTRICTIONS
FROM R -2 TO B -2 COVERING A PARCEL OF LAND
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE
2200 BLOCK W. 18TH STREET SUBJECT TO CON-
DITION SUBSEQUENTLY BEING MET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO,
that:
SECTION 1.
The zoning restrictions covering the following described
property be changed from R -2, Single - Family Residential Dis-
trict, to B -2, Subregional Business District, and, upon
passage of this ordinance, zoning restrictions affecting
B -2, Subregional Business District, shall apply to said
property:
Lots 1 through 8, Block 4, Hyde Park Subdivision,
and more commonly known as:
South side of the 2200 block W. 18th Street.
SECTION 2.
This zoning ordinance, upon recommendation of the
Planning and Zoning Commission , is approved with the
following condition: that curb, gutter and a six -foot
sidewalk be installed along W. 18th Street and Park Avenue
abutting the subject property.
The City Planning and Zoning Commission is hereby
authorized and directed to initiate proceedings to rezone
the above - described property to an R -2, Single - Family
Residential District, if the property owners or his heirs,
successors or assigns fail to meet these conditions within
six (6) months of passage of this ordinance.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
final passage and approval.
